Virginia Creek

When a person hikes between St Mary Falls and Virginia Falls there are a number of rapids and falls along Virginia Creek that some people mistakenly think are Virginia Falls.  Especially since:

• the trail gains in elevation and out of shape people would like these falls to be Virginia Falls so they can stop hiking,
• one cannot see or hear the real Virginia Falls until one is close to it, and
• these are nice waterfalls.
