On June 25 Patti and I hiked to a number of waterfalls in Glacier Park. It was a good time to go as this was a high water year and the rivers were running high and fast due to all the snow from the previous Winter.
The first waterfall that we visited was St Mary Falls.
The distance from the Sun Road to the falls is .8 of a mile. One loses 260 feet of elevation walking down to the falls.

Patti and I then hiked up above the falls on user-trails. This is the stream that flows down into St Mary Falls.
